Ochen Simon Eidodo, National Barista champion of Uganda 2018 and the second Barista champion of Africa 2018, is the driving force behind Chariots Coffees and Barista Academy. The establishment, located in Kampala, Uganda, is a unique blend of a coffee shop and a training facility for aspiring baristas.

Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. He founded Chariots Coffees and Barista Academy in 2018 with the goal of sharing his expertise with others and promoting the high-quality coffee that Uganda has to offer and promoting the art and science of coffee making in Uganda and providing young Ugandans with the skills and knowledge to excel in the coffee industry.

The academy offers a variety of classes for coffee enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to experienced baristas. These classes cover topics such as the history and origins of coffee, the different types of coffee beans and their characteristics, proper coffee brewing techniques, and latte art. The academy also offers hands-on training and certifications for those who want to take their skills to the next level. To date, the academy has trained over 800 baristas, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the coffee industry.

Chariots Coffees and Barista Academy also has a coffee shop that serves a range of delicious coffee drinks made with high-quality beans sourced from local farmers. The shop also serves food and pastries, making it the perfect spot for a quick breakfast or a leisurely afternoon break.

Beyond the coffee, Chariots Coffees and Barista Academy is also committed to giving back to the community by creating jobs and training opportunities for young Ugandans, and by working with local farmers to promote sustainable coffee cultivation. They also provide consultancy services to businesses in the coffee industry, helping them to improve their operations and increase their profits.

Simon's vision and passion have led to the creation of a unique establishment that is making a significant impact on the coffee industry in Uganda.
